MY INTERESTS, MY LIKES, MY LIFE

BROADWAY

Outside of school and work one of my passions in life is Broadway. I have been seeing plays since I was young and fell in love with the idea of Broadway after my first play, The Lion King. The actors give you an exhilaration that is specific to this type of entertainment. I enjoy leaving life behind, if only for a couple hours, to be transported to another world that doesn't involve a screen. Broadway plays are an experience that I think more people should give a chance as it gives you a certain appreciation for the arts that music and television don't. At one point I was so involved in what you can learn from Broadway that I considered becoming a Broadway critic. Maybe one day down the line when I have seen more shows I will entertain the idea again.

FOOTBALL (GO GIANTS!)

During the fall months I enjoy going out and rooting for my favorite football team, the New York Giants. Much like Broadway, football gives me that escape from stress or anxiety in my life at that point and time. I love meeting other fans and reminiscing about past players and iconic plays all while enjoying a cold beer and having an overall good time. Sunday night games are something I look forward too from the time I wake up on Monday morning to the time I fall asleep Saturday night. It's something that takes everything else away and allows me the peace of pure joy for the entirety of the game, even if I am yelling at Eli the entire game.

ORGANIZATION

While organization is something that has taken over my life professionally, it is still something I enjoy doing for fun. I chose the picture above because when most think of organization, kitchen appliances neatly stacked on a home made carrier or color coated book shelves and closets comes to mind, however it's much more than that. Organization is all around us. Art, sports, and entertainment. The picture above is just a small glimpse of the organization around us everywhere. I love the sense of accomplishment I get from helping my parents or a friend organize tangible items or even ideas that they might be lost on. I never thought this thing that I'm good at to be a skill but I am grateful and excited to see where it continues to take me.
